If the factions hadn't gone to you know where in a handbasket, the Erudite decided that intellectual arrogance could easily and effectively replace intellectual intelligence, then I would be an Erudite Divergent.
For as long as I can remember, I have never had a preference between right brain and left brain. My IQ scores are great and I'm eclectic with facts and ideas, which I then apply to some big picture, tiny detail problem-solving and analysis. I'm classic Divergent according to every test I've taken.
But...
My real personality type falls under pure science. I love knowledge for the sake of knowledge. I read the dictionary for fun. My only mourning point of my home's library is that it no longer contains an encyclopedia. If there's a book in the house, I've read it. If there are no new books in the house, I read them again. I finished the fiction section of the library when I was eleven years old and decided that there was no help for it: I started in on the health books. (Which is how I know a lot of things no gal my age really ought to unless they're a doctor or health practitioner.) I used to hoard my old textbooks for later use. I use words nobody else in the house understands. I actually know what the subjunctive mood is and like to use it. My conversations with my sister about conversations (and our use of English) usually prompt the response, "Only you."

I want to read the book where Erudite gets some nuance. Bring it on.
