Nerve-Wracked: On Kickstarter and Book Covers

I am seriously considering (drafting) a Kickstarter project to help pay to get digital (and printed) editions of Soul (Breath), Radiance (Radiant Lands), and Gone Hunting (Vardin) to be gorgeous, properly covered, and properly copywritten.

And then, I actually come up with a cover I think I like. But will my audience like it?

I like the typography and the overall design, though I think the cat shape could more distinct. It took me a few seconds to realize what it was.

I like it overall. It looks like it would be a gorgeous cover in print.

Which fonts did you use? I like them. 😀

The title is in Aquiline, the original font. There are two versions of it. The author name is in Anglo-Saxon Caps. I had wondered about the cat. I wanted to make it look almost breathed, or like smoke, so distinct edges are a mixed bag. Hmm...
