Do not wait for inspiration to put down roots. Wait for it to flit your way like a butterfly and capture an image of its wings as it passes. Scribble down what you can, then stop until you glimpse its wings again. Be coy. Let it pursue you.

So many times, I hear that little voice of inspiration, like a glimpse of something magical, and I have to write it down immediately! Post-its are great for that--not nearly as intimidating as a big empty page.
I love my PDA for the same reason. The small screen makes it easy to keep writing!
