I felt a little bump in my heartbeat when I read these words. I like how the end takes you back to the beginning of the piece. The juxtaposition of the rain and the clouds--except that the clouds weren't made of water-- and the tears that would do nothing to douse the flames is beautifully worded.
My prayers are with the victims of these fires as well.
