Writing can be like stone soup. You have a story simmering on the burner in a great pot and you throw in this and that and whatever you have in your pantry and wait until something comes together. This is another ‘something’ for the “Hunt the Mists” pot. Here’s to you, in_the_blue, for wanting more.

So I hadn’t meant for this to be so depressing and horrible, but um… There it is in black and white—the reason Hayley is the way she is.
A double-drabble.
I wanted a plethora of quick drabbles. This is one of the few pieces that didn’t look liked I crammed a short into a flash. It’s also the first finished prose snippet of the world. Yay.
bound by spheres of glass // as the songbirds sing // they growing ever younger
Not so pretty and an odd secondary character in the world, but alas, so many of the former operatives are this messed up.
So I wasn’t expecting this experiment that he does so often to show up until after the next story (also prompted by pygmymuse), but it did. Hope you like it!
